This is the kpc. cropped trench cut from 1981 forest green Cone Mills wide wale cotton corduroy.
The fabric carries a structured weight with a soft, velvety rib. Deep green with natural dimension through the wale. It’s substantial but wearable.
It was designed so classic trench elements remain: wide collar, cuff tabs, clean front closure. The silhouette is shortened and slightly boxy, shifting the proportion into something more modern and direct.
Hand-sewn pom poms are applied across the surface, each individually stitched in place. The placement is intentional but irregular, creating subtle contrast against the grounded base fabric.
This is a true heritage American textile (From Cone Mills!!) with precise construction. It has balanced structure with a restrained sense of play. Just the way kpc. likes it!
