1950s 3-stripe yarn-dyed cotton twill. The textile was made using long-staple cotton and is likely mill woven. the colors are stunning. muted but saturated stripes-
brick red, pale celadon/mint, and mustardy yellow
this playsuit has a cropped inseam with a slightly tapered leg. It's very much a straight silhouette, not body-con but also not oversized. I drafted the pattern so that the shoulders were fitted and flattering to the body, balancing out the shape of the bodice and pant.
The interior is fully finished with either taped or felled seams. Horn buttons. Cute!
