I've been wanting to knit or crochet a vest FOR SO LONG. YEARS.
I started out only (barely) being able to crochet a strip. Now here we are a few months later. I'm able to design and finagle my own patterns. While it's not worth my time in a business sense, I really do enjoy it.
So here's my first sweater vest by a girl who has always loved sweater vests. If I could never find a vest like this, why would I not make it?
A cropped cotton vest, crocheted by hand in alternating rows of cream, cobalt and navy. Cluster stitches give the stripes a zigzag edge, and cream ribbing frames the armholes and hem. The collar has a little more swing, with a cream ruffle traced in cobalt.
½ chest: 21”
Across shoulder: 16.5”
Front body length: 16”
