Over a year later, I decided to embrace the World Cup and put together a jersey for my second favorite team: EL TRI!! The Mexico Men’s National Team.
This is a popover polo silhouette (jersey style, if you will) made in mid/heavier weight Italian linen. it’s Kelly green, stubby, and smooth. It’s got a dense and structured drape which can be emphasized by pulling the drawcords at the bottom hems.
This jersey is appliquéd with “El Tri”, the national flower of Mexico and a team crest featuring an agave plant. All appliquéd were designed, drawn, and applied in studio.
