structured and boxy silhouette with 10" sleeves. this textile holds shape extremely well and sits away from the body. I've always preferred a crisp structure to something clingy and soft. I like the angles and shapes. Especially in womenswear.
I had a dream about this shirt, as I often do at 3am. I thought about using raffia. But sometimes, and more than likely, raffia is a paper product today. The raffia used here is viscose. It can be ironed. It can be laundered. It's really amazing. This will not be the last. I'm enjoying "making" my own textiles.
