The disappearing plaid shirt is made from deadstock fine Italian cotton in a washed sky blue.
The body itself is different than the classic kpc. silhouette. This camp shirt is reworked with a raglan sleeve. The shoulder seam is redirected from the high point to the neckline to soften pitch and change how the garment hangs off the frame. It allows the body to drape instead of sit.
The plaid is hand stitched plaid in cream, seafoam, and peach cotton. It was mapped slowly, line by line and stitched directly to the surface after construction. Threads are left loose on purpose to show record of the hand.
Because the raglan seam interrupts the traditional shoulder line, the grid shifts across planes- front to sleeve without a hard break.
