itsa gameday shirt
this shirt is made from true color printed cotton sateen dated 1986. It's got a soft shine, but hard lines.
(Is it apparent that I love bold stripes?)
The textile has that subtle sheen that old sateen carries. it's soft, but structured. it's got weight that holds the line of the stripe.
I cut this in a slightly boxier camp body with a longer sleeve for proportion. The collar is a 6oz natural cotton twill and the chest patch is a very complimentary cream satin with green chainstitch reading "thrifthaven trojans".
From what I can gather, the Thrifthaven Trojans are no longer, but were a team from Thrifthaven Baptist in Memphis. If anyone has any intel, lmk!
