1980s hand painted acrylic medium on cotton.

not sure of the original intended use of these 4 panels, but it appears the artist clearly ran out of time, got bored, or felt defeated with the project. there are several areas that have been left unfinished, marked with tiny stippling shape outlines in pen. I've had this textile for years.

• solid white Pima cotton on the back and sleeves.

• mother of pearl buttons.

• convertible collar, with button at neck.

• split side seams at bottom hem.
