Fan Quilt Hoodie - Men's M/L
This drug rug style hoodie is made from a 1980s fan quilt. It is 3 layers and very thick, which creates this beautiful structured silhouette.
Interior seams are bound. I originally wanted to put the white underside of the quilt as the exterior, but I pulled a quick gametime decision and decided to use the quilt as the exterior.
So, I originally made one of these with matching shorts for my personal collection and just had to make another because it was too good to not share.
Original hems have been kept for the bottom and sleeve hems. It's a large scallop, which I love and surely makes it unique. (Though it's already unique).
Dropped shoulder with an oversized hood and kangaroo front pocket. Split side seams at the hem.
Please note that these are vintage textiles- some over 70 years old. Please treat them with extreme care. There may be slight discoloration or imperfections on the vintage textiles that have been treated and repaired to the best of our ability.
