The looking glass shirt is made from two cotton, true color printed tablecloths from the 1950s. Aptly named the looking glass shirt, the two original textiles were too small to each make a single shirt. Both had areas of discoloration that were not desirable in the final product. So, after some mending and tweaking, the two textiles came together seamlessly to create one garment. If you look closely, there are small “windows” throughout the garment which show the opposite textile incorporated within the original.
