an absolute beauty-this jacket is made from hand a hand woven overshot coverlet c.late 1800s-1900. cotton and wool yarns are intertwined, creating a repeating medallion pattern. the wool was naturally dyed using berries and has reached a beautiful petina fade in its age. in some areas, you can see how deep the original color of the dye was.
