This shirt is made from a deadstock vintage printed cotton c. 1970s.

ok, so hear me out. obviously this shirt is named after the commodore. (iykyk)

last sunday, I went over to my long time favorite textile shop that I will not mention. again, if you know, you know. I found this 1970s cotton printed with all things sailboats. i do love the boats, but the brown stripes against the white really got me. I love wood paneling and it was just giving wood paneling. yacht club. the subtle pops of yellow remind me of the brass on old time boats.

commodore: sometime the title given to the prez of a yacht club.

I was on my way to the commie.. the Dore.. Whatever pet name anyone has given it.
so this was just fitting.

I love this shirt so much.
