piranha plant shirt. m/l

this shirt is made from a 1930s table covering with art deco motif hand cross stitched on ecru cotton. the cotton base textile is dense and was woven using larger yarns in a regular weave. It's got a smooth drape and linen-like hand feel.

I'm usually not into pink and black, but there was something about the harsh contrast between the two, stitched on a soft off-white background that really got me. it's really beautiful.
