southwest summer shirt.
The southwest summer shirt is made from a hand woven cotton medium weight textile from the 1970s. This textile was made in Mexico and uses yarn-dyed terracotta, maroon, and white yarns. The textile has an overall horizontal stripe (which is interesting to me, as it was woven this way purposely along the selvedge and is extremely laborious in the switching of yarns.). Within the stripes are motifs of people, animals, and ikat.
Convertible camp collar
Relaxed
Natural agoya shell buttons
Split side seams
Clean finished interior
Please note that all textiles used are 50 to 125+ years old and may contain irregularities and/or areas of irregular color. All stains and fabric imperfections have been treated by us to the best of our ability and are common with vintage and antique textiles.
1/2 Chest: 23.75”
